College Football

I like college football. I feel stupid when T.V . commentators suggest that athletes in college should be paid. Are they athletes or students? Are they not receiving scholarships. Athletes playing for a college receive an opportunity to represent their school, they should be proud, it is an honor and a big opportunity for the student.
O.K lets entertain the premise of students being paid to represent the University. They should sign a contract by which they will play for the school for a number of years. They should remain as property of the university and be subject to trades, penalties and to pay for the tutors, agents ... like professional players do. If a NFL wants to get  a player before its proper time they should pay the school a sum to compensate for the training, and the damage to the school team. I forgot one thing... they came to the school to get a degree or is not so.

Why this title?

I decided to write about the way I feel most of the times. When I see politicians talking about education, fairness, honest work...and many other topics. When I see how resources are administered in the public sector. When I watch T.V and read the news and frequently, after every comment, there is an opinion that someone is trying to drill in my mind, selling it as research, fact, divine intervention.
